Thanks for your support this year! We’re pleased to announce that we have opened registration for the 2021-2022 school year for Parts and Crafts afterschool. Please note that there have been a few changes to how afterschool is going to work, mostly because of space & COVID restrictions. For the foreseeable future we are limiting afterschool slots to a total of 20. Space is limited! We no longer have a van, and while we are looking at purchasing a new one, that is not likely to happen before the school year begins. For that reason we are only offering walking school buses from the Argenziano and the Kennedy. Healy parents that want to work together to solve the Healy transportation issue should email dina@partsandcrafts.org and we’ll put together a discussion about unsupervised walking groups, car pools, etc. As always, transportation is not guaranteed upon registration. Parents requesting transportation should send an email with the subject line TRANSPORTATION REQUEST [name of school] to afterschool@partsandcrafts.org so we can put you on the list. he walking school buses have their own logistics and behavior expectations so once you are signed up you will receive another email with more specific information. We will NOT be offering drop in afterschool days this year. We are not currently offering half day Wednesday extended days. If our daytime program on Wednesdays is under-enrolled, we may offer a smaller version of them as soon as we know what the numbers are. We will offer them to regular Wednesday afterschool parents first as soon as we have more information about how many kids we can take. We’re so excited to be back at Parts and Crafts. We’re looking forward to seeing you and your kids again.
